The news brought by the Black Giant Priests interrupted Jie Ming's research on the Law-Crystallization Domain Enhancement Technique.
The materials required for the second half of the Creation System had all arrived.
At the material transfer station on the main continent of the Infernal Sulfur Plane, the newly delivered metals and energy crystals had piled up into small mountains. Jie Ming put down the test wizard tool still being used to measure the decay curve and walked out of the laboratory.
Before he could speak, a low, respectful voice came from beside him—a Black Giant Priest.
"Master, all materials for the second half of the project have been stored."
"How much is there?" Jie Ming asked as he walked out.
"Enough," the Black Giant Priest replied without hesitation. "The main materials needed for the Energy Conversion Hub are complete. All base materials for the Refining Amplification Zone, Incense Circuit Extension, and Planar Relay Array have also been categorized and sealed according to your standards."
Jie Ming paused slightly and looked toward the warehouse.
"What about the construction crews?"
"They have been reassembled," the Black Giant Priest replied in a low voice. "One million sixth-grade Black Giants, over nineteen million fifth-grade and above engineering Black Giants, and the Tentacle Tree Artisan Group responsible for external support are also in position. As soon as you give the order, construction can resume at any time."
"Good." Jie Ming nodded. "Prioritize the Refining Amplification Zone and the Planar Origin Allocation Hub first. Remind them to increase the density of rune welding by ten percent compared to before. Don't rush for speed; a solid foundation is more important than anything."
The vertical slit in the Black Giant Priest's chest opened and closed slightly, emitting a low hum.
"Understood. There is one more matter, Master."
"Speak."
"Among the newly arrived supernatural metal materials, there is a batch of exceptionally high purity. Should it be reserved for your laboratory first?"
Jie Ming thought for a moment.
"Keep thirty percent for the lab, and put the rest into the project. The second half of the Creation System takes priority over my personal experiments."
"As you command."
After making the arrangements, Jie Ming arrived at the construction site via the teleportation array.
The Black Giant Priest in charge of coordinating the construction hurried over, the vertical slit on his chest opening and closing with a steady, respectful vibration.
"Master, the first batch of materials has been brought in. As you requested, the Refining Amplification Zone and Planar Origin Allocation Hub will resume construction first. Based on current engineering efficiency, the three hundred and sixty-seven nodes around the circular array will also be recalibrated within today."
Jie Ming glanced at the site and nodded.
"The welding quality of the Energy Conversion Hub must be checked again," he said. "Especially the section connecting to the seventh-grade large elemental pool. There must be no risk of energy backflow at the interface."
The Black Giant Priest immediately lowered his head.
"Understood. I will have two groups of sixth-grade priests perform sequential re-inspections. The welding layer, rune layer, and stability layer will all be gone through again."
Jie Ming grunted in acknowledgment, then raised his hand to point at the distant Spiritual Material Maturation Zone that had already been built.
"The rune calibration there cannot be relaxed either. During subsequent construction, constant adjustments must be made to ensure no other issues arise."
"Yes, Master." The Black Giant Priest immediately responded. "I will raise the construction priority of that area to the highest."
Jie Ming thought for a moment and added,
"Don't rush to light up all the nodes at once. First stabilize the framework, then let the subsequent modules embed layer by layer. If any area of the Creation System is overloaded prematurely, problems will arise later."
"Understood." The Black Giant Priest's voice grew more solemn. "I will readjust the construction schedule."
"Go ahead." Jie Ming looked at him. "If there are any problems, report them directly. Don't try to tough it out on your own."
"As you command, Master."
The Black Giant Priest bowed and withdrew, then turned to reorganize the construction teams.
Before long, the entire site returned to a state of high-speed operation.
Jie Ming, accompanied by a group of Black Giant Priests, inspected the site, constantly identifying issues and correcting them promptly.
After a full month of busy work, the construction of the second half of the Creation System was on track, and Jie Ming finally had time to relax.
After making one final inspection round of the site and confirming there were no problems, Jie Ming handed over the ongoing supervision to the Black Giant Priest in charge of the project.
"You take over from here," he said to the priest. "If there are any abnormal fluctuations, inform me immediately."
"Yes, Master." The Black Giant Priest's chest slit vibrated softly.
Jie Ming then turned and returned to the laboratory.
He didn't immediately dive back into the Domain Enhancement Technique. Instead, he sat cross-legged in the meditation room, turned his awareness inward, and examined the changes he had undergone during this period.
The dark-gold light film of the Law-Crystallization Domain had become much thicker than when he first broke through.
Its coverage area had expanded from the size of a single-person meditation room to a diameter of over a kilometer.
This range meant his domain could now extend from the lab all the way beyond the surface of the plane.
More importantly, his mastery of the Spiritual Qi Law had increased by another ten percent during this month.
After climbing another notch above the baseline of one hundred percent, the core region of the domain became even more condensed.
The dark-gold light at the core was so dense it almost seemed liquid, flowing slowly with a sense of stability.
Jie Ming did not immediately start the next research project. Instead, he spent several days measuring the natural growth rate of the Law-Crystallization Domain.
Without actively deducing the Spiritual Qi Law or increasing his law mastery, the domain's effective diameter increased by about eight meters per day.
This speed didn't sound dramatic, but considering the domain's coverage is spherical, the actual new volume added each day was considerable. Moreover, whenever he improved his mastery of the Spiritual Qi Law through research or insight, the domain experienced an overall leap, and the natural growth rate also increased.
In other words, improving law mastery not only greatly enhances the coverage of the Law-Crystallization Domain but also boosts its growth efficiency.
In addition, Jie Ming discovered another phenomenon.
As the coverage expanded, the Law-Crystallization Domain seemed to self-optimize its internal operational logic.
During the expansion of the domain boundary, the arrangement density of law runes would automatically adjust; the pathways of elemental circulation within the domain would also reorganize automatically as the coverage increased, adapting to the larger volume with higher efficiency.
This optimization was not something he actively promoted, but rather a natural adaptive adjustment that occurred as the domain, as a product of "externalized thought," expanded.
"This..."
Jie Ming frowned. He didn't recall any mention of this in the materials about the Law-Crystallization Domain.
"Could it be... that the body refinement method is at work?" A thought flashed through Jie Ming's mind.
Logically, it was highly possible.
After all, the body refinement method doesn't only affect the physical body; it also influences the soul and mind.
Just like how learning pressure—an abstract negative state—can be adapted to by promoting the development of the brain and soul through the body refinement method, the Law-Crystallization Domain, as a manifestation of a wizard's thoughts and knowledge, does fall within the influence of the body refinement method.
"Can I then apply this modified Law-Crystallization Domain to the creation of wizard tools?"
Following this line of thought, Jie Ming turned his attention back to his research on enhancing wizard tools with the Law-Crystallization Domain.
The main problem he had encountered before was that the enhancement effect couldn't be permanently maintained. The synchronized infiltration operation of alchemy and the Law-Crystallization Domain was not precise enough, and the internal circulation logic of the domain was not complete, causing the micro-domain to decay on its own within weeks.
Now, the self-optimized operational logic of the domain gave him a new reference.
Jie Ming felt he could actively imitate the adaptive circulation inside the domain, allowing the shaping of alchemy and the infiltration of the Law-Crystallization Domain to synchronize more tightly and stably.
"Worth a try..."
With that in mind, Jie Ming took out various materials and began experimenting with alchemy.
Years passed quietly amid repeated experiments and guidance on the construction of the Creation System.
Inside the laboratory, the workbench was piled high with test wizard tools from different batches.
Each was marked with a number and experimental parameters.
Over these years, Jie Ming had made tremendous progress in this technique.
From the earliest prototype that could only last half a month, to improved versions that could last several months, to the latest batch that had been running stably for over a year without significant decay—almost a finished product.
On the display screen of the testing instrument nearby, dense experimental data was automatically organized into curves.
The decay rate went from a steep drop to a gradually flattening line.
Until one day, Jie Ming finally held up the wizard tool that had just completed its final test.
It was a standard-spec wizard tool base plate.
The outer shell was made of supernatural alloy, with multiple layers of superimposed energy-drawing runes etched inside.
As soon as the tool was completed, Jie Ming felt a difference compared to previous tools.
He could clearly perceive a certain "difference" between this tool and the external environment, as if the entire tool was a miniature Law-Crystallization Domain running its own autonomous cycle.
It was no longer just an "enhanced artifact"; it had an independent, stable operational structure.
Even though he felt this time he had succeeded, Jie Ming honestly placed it into the isolation array, cut off all external elemental supply, and waited quietly for a few days.
A few days later, the results from the inspection instrument showed that the Law-Crystallization Domain inside the tool had not decayed at all!
The elemental circulation inside the micro-domain was completely unaffected by changes in the external environment, its self-cycle as stable as a miniature plane.
Jie Ming looked at the tool and finally smiled in satisfaction.
The Law-Crystallization Domain Enhancement Technique itself was not particularly difficult; most sixth-grade wizards skilled in alchemy could master it.
But being able to go from zero to permanent enhancement in just a few years showed that he had indeed put enough effort into the cross-application of alchemy and law domains.
Now that this technique was established, the biggest shortcoming of Talisman Imprint Rune Artifacts had been completely resolved.
In other words, it was time to prepare to research new Talisman Imprint Rune Artifacts!
